“Well worth a visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

We called into the Cedar Barn after a very tiring snowy walk in nearby Dalby Forest. The welcome was very warm and friendly. We wanted a warming light lunch and the roasted red pepper and tomato soup fitted the bill. The soup was full of flavour and was served with a warm mini brown loaf and butter. Delicious. The sandwiches we had were also very good. Home cooked ham and locally smoked salmon. After lunch we had a walk around the adjoining farm shop and butchery. Plenty of locally sourced produce on sale along with some frozen ready meals. This place thoroughly deserves all its awards. We will certainly return in the not too distant future.

“Wonderful place to visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Stopped at Cedarbarn Farm Cafe on a day trip through the Yorkshire Moors as had previously visited a few years before. Welcome was fantastic and Service was very attentive. The food was even better. The menu catered for all our party (3 generations youngest aged 4, oldest in late 50's), the 'specials' board was full of lovely choices.

We had a short wait for the food, but not unexpected as Cafe was very busy and all the food came to the table together perfectly fresh and delicious!!

A great time was had by all. We will definitely be visiting again.

“What a surprise awaits inside this building”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

We called in to have coffee in this well appointed cafe where we found the staff very helpful and polite. The coffee grew into a full English Breakfast which was beautifuuly presented on a very hot plate (a pet hate food being served on cold plates). After the coffee we spent time in the farm shop wher we found a wonderful selection of out of the ordinary foods in the farm shop including their own bred Aberdeen Angus meat.

Again the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.

We will definitely be calling again when we are next in the area.
