“Perfect!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

We vowed never to return after a poor experience here on a Friday night when it was extremely busy but I am so glad we changed our mind. This time we went mid-week and had a sensational meal. Perfectly-cooked fresh food, exquisitely spiced, served on hot plates by courteous, attentive staff and with an acceptable waiting time between courses. I really wish I could have the lentil soup recipe, it was amazing! The whole evening was a delight and could not be bettered in any way. We will definitely be back - but only ever mid-week.

“tasty and very popular”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

I liked my butter chicken a lot. Not sure about the starter which was potato stuffed with cheese and a plum. It didn't taste of much except the spices. I also liked my husband's chilli and garlic chicken but watch out as there was probably 2 heads of garlic in it in whole cloves so great if you like garlic!!We also liked the Indian dessert which I think was gulab jamun. The restaurant was very busy and I felt that maybe the pace needs to be slowed down a bit, otherwise you feel like you are being rushed through so that a second lot of people can come in after you.

“At Last”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

At last a truly wonderful Indian restaurant in Stirling. Welcoming staff, not too many tables. Food excellent. Vegetable pakora very light, tikka spicey but just right. Nice short menu, so all cooked fresh....At last a good Asian food not full of sugar like most of the other Asian restaurants in the Stirling area. I will be back, with friends and family.

“A cut above your average Indian”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

Definatly a cut above some very average curry houses in town, and this shows on thier very short but perfectly formed menu. We started with a dosa and a chilli chicken special, which were flavoursome and warming. We then opted for smaller tapas style portions which allowed us to try more, so we had the chicken tikka chasni (a sweet and sour curry the Scots are keen on) and very nice too, lamb karahai, smoked haddock and puy lentils, mixed vegetables, turka dahl, plain rice and naan bread.

The joy was having the variety without the normal bloated feeling when eating an Indian, loved the attention to detail and presentation along with wonderful subtle flavours, the kitchen must be applauded for ther efforts. This extends to the polite and courteous front of house team. All this washed down with a few cobras and the bill came in under £50, not bad for a night out.
