Having decided to treat ourselves to a pre-christmas night away, we booked the Terraces Hotel in Stirling. This turned out to be the most relaxing break we have ever taken within the UK. The small friendly hotel was hosting a christmas party night and therefore upgraded us (without request) to the most fabulous suite. The food, drink and staff exceeded each other and we will definately return. For couples, singles, families and pretty much the rest of the population this is trully the best kept secret in Stirling, located five minutes walk from the town centre where the shopping, eating, drinking and site seeing are in abundance.

Recently stayed in this wonderful wee hotel in Stirling. We were given a triple room that was both spacious and clean. It was obviously just refurbished and the bathroom was fantastic and ultra modern. We ate in the hotel at night and it was good basic food at reasonable prices- couldnt ask for anything more. Breakfast was good too. With a choice of cereals, fruit etc and then a fried option cooked to order.

Have stayed here twice, all the staff are friendly and helpful, the room was a bit small but very clean, well maintained and comfortable - as is the hotel throughout. I've stayed at other hotels in Stirling and this is by far the best value, I'm not really into writing reviews but this place warrants one.

The Terraces Hotel was a charming place to stay for our first night in Scotland. The staff were so nice and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. The food was great and very filling. The location was terrific as it was close enough to walk to the castle or do lots of shopping yet it was far enough off the street to keep the hotel very peaceful. There was off street parking for our car; a nice pub and beer garden for a good dinner and a night cap; and, it was a good value for the price. We hope to have the opportunity to return soon!
