The Terraces Hotel was a charming place to stay for our first night in Scotland. The staff were so nice and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. The food was great and very filling. The location was terrific as it was close enough to walk to the castle or do lots of shopping yet it was far enough off the street to keep the hotel very peaceful. There was off street parking for our car; a nice pub and beer garden for a good dinner and a night cap; and, it was a good value for the price. We hope to have the opportunity to return soon!

We recently spent a few days at the Terraces Hotel. From the minute we arrived, we were greeted like old friends. The staff were very friendly and helpful; the food was excellent, plentiful and good value for money and our rooms were spotless, very comfortable and well equipped. We will definately return to stay here in the the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel.

Our family of four (two teenagers) got into Stirling without a hotel. Many inns were fully book. We stopped at the Terraces Hotel. They had no family room so we had to take two rooms at 90 pounds for each room per night. It is not cheap, especially for four but the place was absolutely lovely. The tartan theme is attractive. The public areas of the hotel and the rooms are immaculately clean and well appointed. It is close to commercial activities and an ATM is about 100 meters across the street. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. There is a bar and a restaurant and surprisingly both at bargain prices. Many evening menu items were at below six pounds, including roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. Same menu is available at the bar which has a fine selection of malt whisky and has a TV which is great for World Cup football. Delicious haggis is served as an appertizer (very large) at dinner. Haggis, Scottish black pudding and traditional porridge are available inclusively at breakfast. There is limited parking right in front of the hotel and there is also street parking as an overflow. There is a coin laundry about a mile away. The desk has information and there is an attendant at the laundry that can do your clothes while you sight see for next day readiness.

Have just returned from one night at this lovely hotel in Stirling. Newly refurbished room with great bathroom. Everything you could want in the room. Lovely breakfast with cold buffet and hot options all cooked to order. The staff were very friendly and so helpful to the point of digging our car out of 10 inches of snow in the morning.
Would highly recommend to tourists or people on business. Great location near the centre of Stirling and fantastic value when booked direct with the hotel.
Will certainly go back if in the area.
