We had a late evening midweek supper for 4 at the Sun. We knew we would be late and had phoned ahead.
The menu was very interesting although there wasnt a lot of indication as to the spice heat of the various dishes. The staff indicated that the chef could cook all the dishes to any heat requirement. We ordered a Veggie Biryani, King Prawn Kathmandu, a Chicken and a Lamb Rogan Josh. 2 Pilau rice and a plain Naan finished the food order. A couple of Cobras and a red wine were all we drank.
The food was delicious, freshly cooked and delicately spiced. A bit of a kick but not too much. Service was responsive. And at less than £50 in total it was all very good value.
But we were the only customers, although that wont put us off going back.
