“A brilliant place to visit”

Informative, friendly staff in this tiny little gem of knowledge and fascinating displays. Every month there is a fresh display, very clever

“Probably the smallest museum in the world”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2014

Worth a visit! Recommend also seeing the haunting ruins of nearby Cowdray Castle, one of England's great Tudor houses.

“Small but perfectly formed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2014

Such a feat of ingenuity getting all these exhibits together. A change every month brings something different. It really is worth a visit and will be even better when it moves to its new home in the old library. Well done to all the volunteers too

“Possibly the smallest museum in Britain”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2014

Midhurst Museum was opened in December 2011. Because it's ony small (9ft. x 9ft.) the theme of the museum changes every month. When I last visited the theme was 'A Cornucopia of Miscellaneous Items', next month (March) the artefacts will be related to Midhurst. Therein lies it's charm, people visit throughout the year to see the latest display. Most of the artefacts are provided by Midhurst brothers Dave and Tim Rudwick and the the voluntary team of stewards is led by Peter Nightingale. It's open Tuesday to Saturday, just up from the main street, and it's free.
