“The time taken to queue at reception was longer than my airport check in !!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2010

Rooms a little shabby but the biggest bugbear which will mean I will probably not return, the queue to check in and check out or just to ask a quick question was horrendous, too few staff and slow slow computers took so long it left me very very frustrated. You can't even use fast drop if you have a car park ticket which needs to be validated..... so go join that queue.... it may be short but it takes a long long time ! Slept well though and wine reasonably priced, evening menu a bit thin.

stayed on 4th June 2010 as part of park and stay option as we were flying out to Dubai on the 5th. We had a double room, bed very comfortable for £62 with 1 weeks parking thrown in. Hotel was clean and staff were efficient and welcoming. Only downside was a small glass of wine was £6.50, but thats standard in and around London. I would definately stay at this hotel again for one night if we had to fly out of heathrow again, cant imaging staying here if I were on holiday, not a lot to do around the area and not exactly a holiday type of hotel, one night stays and business people seemed to be the order of the day.

Stayed overnight prior to a conference, check in was slow and even though we booked executive rooms we didnt get them.
We ate in the Sanpan restaurant which I would highly reccommend! - The food and service there was great!
The bedrooms and corridors are dated and tired and clearly in need of a revamp, however bed was comfy.
Conference facilities were good, however lunch in the main restaurant was average, and no dishes were labelled so you had to ask what each was.
Easy to find, even without sat nav! :-)

This place allows 4 people in a room, which is uncommon for London hotels (at least those near the airport). If you don't need the space, I recommend one of the other Heathrow hotels that are instead on Bath Rd adjacent to the airport, from which you can take a free city bus to the central bus station at the airport (and I believe *from* the airport, but I'm not sure), rather than having to take the Hotel Hoppa bus (which costs 4 pounds per person, and runs less frequent than city buses too). Not sure if city buses go to Terminal 4; you'd need to check, or figure out how to get from Terminal 4 to the central bus station (it's unusually far). We wanted to stay near the airport; if you don't need that, then consider staying closer to London, near the underground.

This Holiday Inn is fine, though carpets seems unusually old and stained -- no big deal though. Restaurants in the hotel are WAY overpriced. Walk to the restaurant just outside the hotel property to the left (The Plough); it was well-priced and had delicious food with good variety.

If you want breakfast, consider asking for a room rate that includes breakfast -- it's only about 10 pounds extra, for everyone in your room. Otherwise, breakfast costs about 10-15 pounds PER PERSON if you pay in the restaurant -- ridiculous.

If you want to get into town, go to the post office (10-15 minute walk to the left) and buy a pass (about 7 pounds) that is good for a full day on buses and the underground. Bus stop is just 2 minute walk from the hotel, 20 minute bus ride to the West Hounslow train station, then 25 minutes train ride into London.

I had gone for an organized Europe tour and hence cant comment too much about the value for money part as I'm not too sure about the tariffs.
However the hotel was clean and very confortable. It was a little far from main London. However there is a bus stop right outside and it drops you to the subway. Thus commuting isnt too difficult from their.
The breakfast was awesome and had a decent variety.
The people were very helpful and well behaved.

Stayed for 1 night and left car in the car park while I was away for 3 days. All fine. Dropped off car, checked in fine. Room was fine - generic multinational hotel room, big double bed, clean shower/bath, tea coffee, TV, alarm clock, hairdryer etc.. No mini-bar or fridge - just a note saying if I wanted anything to call.
Staff were fine - a bit surly and a little sarcastic at times - very British!
Hoppa to heathrow costs £4 each way. Buses leave around 25 past and 55 mins past each hour to T5 and T4, takes about 20 mins as stops at 3 other hotels then T5 then T4. Return journey on the Hoppa seemed to take ages (bus stop 12 at T4 I think) - about 50 mins - no reason as traffic wasn't a problem. I guess the message is allow plenty of time. Someone on my bus was getting really irate about how long it was taking, but if you need to get to the airport very quickly take a taxi rather than a stopping bus.
All fine, I will stay there again, plenty of parking and a reasonable room rate with the parking thrown in

We stayed in this hotel during May 2010 in group tour. It was for overnight halt. It is little away from City but very close to the Airport.

The rooms were comfortable for a couple with just about every facilities including electric kettle for tea and coffee - very rare in Europe. The bathroom was little cramped but very clean. The lawn outside the hotel was very well maintained. The Hotel had a good Gym. The Bar was very well stocked. The coffee shop is moderately priced. It also had a small store with minor traveling utilities from medicine to toothpaste.

The best was the outdoor restaurant - Grilled food was really good with reasonable choice.

We did not avail much of room service - since it was only overnight stay. The staff was generally very friendly and helpful.

Though it is part of a Motel Chain, I think this hotel is good for short stay for a break in London.
