“No question... I'd stay here again.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

This is clearly a hotel that trades on its proximity to London Heathrow and therefore seems to be especially geared up to cater for passing guests (what hotel isn't?) who are staying over before heading to or from Heathrow.

I found the room well laid out and very clean.

I stayed on the last Friday before Xmas so the hotel was very busy with both Xmas parties and those heading to check in early the next morning and (even though it was busy) I found all the staff (from check in to the bar) very helpful whether it was arranging the airport transfer coach when I was heading outbound and especially the concierge on my return when I collected my car after 2 weeks away.

Many thanks, I'll be back.

No windows in my room. Was too tired to go back down to reception to change. Contacted customer services and got the reply "thank you for your feedback, we will update your profile with a preference for rooms with a window".

Doesn't seem to make sense to me. Good room for a Heathrow hotel (when they have windows).

Difficult to get there with the hotel hoppa bus. Taxis always seem to be late or reception forgets to book them.

If you're flying in or out of Heathrow, or just fancy a few days away from it all, I recommend trying this hotel. I arrived early and was checked in and in my room (4th flour) in a matter of 4-5 minutes. Great service in reception! The room was one of the cheaper ones, but it was everything I had paid for. The free WiFi is really good, and it really should be free with any hotel. The selection of TV channels was good, although I didn't really get to see too much TV. ;-) The bar/restaurant was good for a quick bite and a few late night drinks. For getting to and from the airport, no matter which terminal, the shuttle (Hoppa) leaves every 20 mins. and only takes 10-12 mins to get you there. Mind you, it does make two other hotel stops on the way. If you're a group, 3 or more, it could be cheaper to get a taxi though (£10-15). Reception is very good at helping you with either.

This hotel offers excellent value and amenities close to Heathrow. On my most recent trip, checking in on 7 Jan 13 and out on 8 Jan 13 I was disappointed to be charged on departure and then to se a duplicate charge applied to my VISA card on 10 Jan 13. At the time of writing the hotel is still sorting this out. Just a word of caution!

Personal service is what distinguishes a good hotel, and unfortunately the Radisson Blu Edwardian was terrible in the service department. They were inflexible in arrangements, slow on all services, and did not seem to care at all about customer satisfaction. While a good price for a room, don't expect service to go along with that.

We stayed one night in the Radisson Blu Edwardian before travelling early the next day. The hotel is very conveniently located for the airport with a shuttle bus operating from terminals to the hotel. The hotel was of a very high standard - the staff were very professional and the accommodation was very clean, spacious and of a high standard. We had a nice meal in the restaurant. We managed to get a good deal so the price was great value. If we need to stay at a Heathrow airport hotel in the future, we would choose this hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was great!

The rooms are spacious and comfortable - the bed and pillows were particularly comfortable I had a great nights sleep.

The hotel has excellent facilities and all staff as friendly and helpful.

The bar and restaurants are reasonably price and have a great selection of good and drink choices.

I would recommend staying here.
