Sterile, boring, "corporate", vastly overpriced. and that's just for starters. This place used to be a great 'local', serving proper food cooked by a real person. Now it appears that the food arrives pre-prepared on pallets from the back of a truck and is akin to an up-market McDonalds. The owners clearly don't know how to run a pub because the service varies between appalling and non-existent. The Bold Arms, across the road, is far better if it's a real pub you're after. At the Hesketh, you get the impression that everything is geared towards the shareholders rather than the customers.
