Stayed at this hotel Sept 2012 on a KGB deal. We had a great time, the room was spacious and a lovely bathroom. The room was overlooking the garden, which was very pleasant. I used the pool and spa. The staff were very efficient and helpful. Will be more than happy to stay there again.

Room Tip: We had the ground floor room which had plenty of room if you we're disabled, although might be a...

The pictures of this hotel don't do it justice
We had a very enjoyable and very comfortable stay in an executive room which was spacious and clean
Ironing board and iron available as is a hairdryer

There is a lovely little patio outside the room with table and 2 chairs.accessed by sliding patio doors
Bedding is sheets and blankets rather than a quilt .the bed was two single beds pushed together

The shower is good and has over bath shower curtain rather than shower screen

Breakfast is amazing with loads of choice and all served at your table ..food delicious with lovely presentation

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Must give Carol a special mention .she was very knowledgeable and helpful..she booked taxi into town ....£3 .....advised on restaurants including one where you can eat crocodile kangaroo bison and springbok all in the same meal!....... and marked out strategic locations in the town ,on a map plus advised on parking....£1all day on top floor sainsburys car park she also checked on tide times and trips to Caldey island

The pool and spa are lovely and didn't realise there is a small corner sauna .

Would have been nice if the changing room had individual cubicles to change in rather than communal changing facility .the shower only has a shower curtain and is in the same changing area so privacy is bit tricky

I would suggest the hotel might consider providing bathrobes and slippers so that guests can change in their rooms before going to the spa

There's loads of leaflets of things to do in the entrance porch and a business card for mobile beautician and hairdresser in the reception

An absolute bargain on a £99 Groupon deal for two nights B and B .

Room Tip: Have an executive room or upgrade to the four poster room with jacuzzi bath which we didn't see...

I stayed here at the beginning of April on a KGB deal. It was a fantastic deal, I wasn't expecting too much so I was really pleasantly surprised when I arrived. I was checked in by a very helpful and welcoming lady. The room was really nice, bedding lovely clean and fresh and the bathroom was spotless. The room looked out on to the garden and had a small outside area with table and chairs. Other family members were really pleased by their rooms too.

I had afternoon tea on arrival and ate in the restaurant at night on a meal deal which was good value. I didn't try the spa or pool but heard it was good. Checkout was very efficient. I travelled by train and the receptionist looked up my train time and gave me directions to the station. I asked if she could organise some sandwiches for my long journey which she promptly did and she wouldn't accept any money for them. A very nice touch!!

All the staff are lovely and friendly.

i would definately go back to this hotel and look forward to doing so.

Room Tip: Ground floors have a patio and upper floors have a decked balcony overlooking the garden

Well were do I begin, this hotel is lovely! We were welcomed by a lovely lady at reception who showed us around and to our room and pointed out that if at any point there was a problem they were only a phonecall away. We used the jacuzzi, pool and sauna which were all incredibly clean. Our room was clean, tidy and had a lovely balcony we could go and sit on in the evening. We didn't use the restaurant but did order room service which was quick and the food was delicious. The breakfast was just as nice. We will definitely be coming back again

I have just returned from a weekend stay at the heywood mount. I booked a last minute deal on a bed and breakfast rate. I mentioned when booking that it was my partners birthday. On arrival we were shown the facilities and instantly felt at home. We were then shown to the bridal suite which we had been upgraded to, complete with double jacuzzi bath and own balcony with seating for 2. The breakfast was lovely and cooked fresh to order. We did make use of the leisure facilities, pool was very clean and lovely warm jacuzzi, which they supplied us fresh towels from reception. Nothing was too much trouble and would definitely use this hotel again. It is approx 15 walk to Tenby centre and £3 in a taxi for the way home after a few drinks!

We stayed at this hotel for one night, would loved to have stayed longer, the rooms were very spacious and very clean.Spa facilities were great, Lovelly swimming pool; jacuzzi, steam room etc and gym.The evening meal was first class, with plenty of choice, very professional staff, everybody went out of their way to be accommodating,
as the weather was bad we got soaked but they had a room for drying all our golf equipment and clothes which was very good. Brilliant stay would definately go back.
