“Recommend the Sunday dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Was recommended this pub for sunday lunch, had a roast dinner
Service at bar was welcoming and plenty of smiles, roast dinner delivered on hot plates with plenty of vegetables, gravy and delicious beef. Great welcome, fabulous food and very reasonable prices, will go again and recommend to others.

“What a delightful surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012

My partner and I decided to have lunch at the Milton Brewery. Although we live nearby this was our first visit and will not be our last. The food is high quality pub food but actually more befitting agood restaurant in my view. My chilli was definitely home made and perfectly seasoned withh sufficient zing with the chilli for me to compliment the host with the comment that it was excellent. My partner had gammon which he said was succulent, tender and tasty. The best had in many years. We cant wait to go back. Ten out of ten really doesnt do it justice enough. Customer service was lovely. Thank you

“New Owners Restore this FANTASTIC Pub and Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012 via mobile

A short visit on our way back to the port of Milton Dock, This Pub offered a warm welcome and a fair selection on the menu board. A large choice of the mains were home made which explains are dining experience. The desserts were Very good and all dishes were served quickly. The bar had a good choice on the pumps and were fairly priced. To top it off the Fire was lit which made the experience all the more enjoyable. To sum up, A clean Pub with Good Pints and great food.

“Disappointing”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2011

We called at the Milton Brewery in the hope of enjoying a light and tasty lunch. On entry it was obvious that we were in fact the only customers wanting to dine although there were a few people sitting at the bar. The pub was decorated in the busy traditional style of brasses and dark furniture. The walls decorated with many collectable beer mats.
We were fairly uninspired by the lunch menu .No baugettes/paninis/rolls served just sandwiches for the cabohydrate choice. The fillings were even less inspirational but with my hubby and myself feeling quite hungry we went ahead and ordered the ham sandwiches at $4.99 with a portion of chips for a reasonable £1.
When the meal arrived we were both disappointed to see a simle sandwich made from your basic loaf useing plastic ham and margarine. Ok the sandwich came on a doily but we could not eat that ! The chips were lovely and hot but of the cheap frozen variety.
We ate our less that tasty sanwiches and chips paid our bill and vowed never to return. I honestly would not object to paying a fiver for a sandwich but at least offer decent bread and real meat.
We felt this esablishment lacked lunch time visitors for good reason,

my partner and myself starting to
