“everything you want in a guest house, especially for cyclists.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2012

Stayed here last weekend. Reasonable rates, comfy bed, nice room with view over the bowling green, central location near the beach, good breakfast, cosy lounge where i imagine one could sit and read the books there. Very accomodating for cyclists, with a lock up bike storage area. Good ensuite shower. Flat screen TV in the room. Plenty of storage for clothes. Faultless.

Arrived at B&B and was welcomed by a lady who asked us about our journey. After a brief, pleasant chat we were told our room was ready and we were the second floor. I am quite fussy, so you can imagine my horror of entering the room and viewing the dirty looking quilt cover. My husband tried to convince me that the room was dated and looked sruffy until he pulled back the cover and saw black make-up (mascara) on the underside. I then looked into the onsuite and the toilet and shower had pubic and head hair clearly visable. I proceded to clean it with cotton wool balls and mouthwash which is what i had available. I then saw a nail on the bedside shelf which my husband put in the bin. We went downstairs and my husband asked for the cover to be changed. The lady said she had asked the young girl to check the cover, which shocked us even more, meaning it is not automatically changed for each arrival. My husband and I then went out for an hour and tried to find another B&B but all full. On our return all the bedding had been changed and the onsuite had a lick & wipe. Overall staff friendly, but really need to check and clean rooms a lot better. Will not stay there again. Tenby itself is lovely

We had gone to Tenby for the Wales Sportive Long Course weekend for my Husband to compete.

We left organising a hotel until the last minute an no where had any vacancies.

We were lucky as Glenholme had 3 double rooms, all very clean, nicely decorated and reasonably priced. It was a perfect location and everything was in walking distance, my mum who had come along to support uses a stick to walk and found it easy to walk around town.

The owners of the hotel could not have been more helpful. Very friendly and made our stay very comfortable. They even got up early to make my Husband breaksfast as he was leaving the guest house before 8.30am and locked away my Husbands bike and allowed him to go back after check out to use the bathroom facilities.

There was no parking but there was a fairly large car park less than 2 minutes walk away and only cost £11 for the whole weekend. Very safe and was manned all day. We felt that we could leave my Husbands bike in the back of the car with no worries after check out.

We loved Tenby, had fantastic weather and lots of lovely cafes. The staff in the cafes all remember you and like to talk to you and make you feel very welcome.

We will be going back!
