“WISH WE COULD HAVE STAYED LONGER!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

There are too many lovely things to say about our stay at St Lawrence. Pippa and Phil are simply the bests hosts anyone could wish for and make you feel like you are the only guests.

The room was lovely, dual aspect with magnificent views down to Tenby South beach. The garden is full or wildlife and birds. There are great walks in the area or just ask Pippa and Phil and they will tell you all about the many wonderful days out and restaurants in the area.

The honesty fridge is a great idea, and very useful for after pub munchies!

We will be back. Thank you again

Katy and Richard x

More accidentally we made encounter with this B&Bin an absolutely great setting quite close to Tenby. This place, owned and run by the Williams couple, from the very first moment made us feel welcome and like home. At any of the moment of our stay, they were absolute caring. All of the rooms are well equipped and in perfect state, the cleanliness is definitely exemplary. Breakfast in the conservatory (or in the garden, good weather provided of course) is ample, you may get almost everything. the premises are huge, so there is lots of opportunity to stroll around (or merely sit and let time go by) and savour the great views, even to the sea. And the ancient church including the ruins of a former village are a must see as well. A great stay !

If you want to be spoiled then book a break here!! Tea and homemade Welsh cakes on arrival really got us off to the perfect start. Pippa and Philip are great hosts and Philip's breakfasts with his homemade bread and jams mean no lunch is required!! Nothing seems too much trouble, even giving us a lift into Tenby so a bottle of wine with dinner was possible. Beautiful rooms that were spotlessly clean and wonderful views over to the island of Caldy. Thank you both, after the excitement of our daughters wedding we could have felt a bit flat but our stay with you was just what the doctor ordered. Here's hoping you go from strength to strength.

What a beautiful place, and such a warm welcome. We stayed two nights, and were well and truly spoilt. Room with a view - absolutely! Breakfasts out of this world, home-made bread everyday. Pippa and Phillip were superb hosts, to the Manor Born - except they have only been running the place since June. Apparently it had an excellent reputation under the previous owners, and can only see this getting better. Would certainly return.

Philip and Pippa provide a warm welcome with freshly baked welsh cakes, matched by the relaxing surroundings of their extensive gardens and beautifully appointed rooms. My husband has mobility problems and the ground floor bedroom with the walk in shower was perfect, with lovely views of the sea and Caldy island. The superb hospitality extended to providing a lift to the nearby pub. Breakfasts cater for vegetarians and the home baked bread is outstanding. I can recommend the St Lawrence without any reservations.

Room Tip: Ground floor bedroom ideal for those with limited mobility

We arrived at St Lawrence after a short stay at St Bride's Spa Hotel, which is nearby and so much more expensive. We were not disappointed in the least. This is a seriously good base from which to explore the Pembrokeshire coast! Nothing is too much trouble for the new owners - when we were planning to go to a restaurant in the next village, the offer of a lift, both there and back, was immediately forthcoming. Don't miss the breakfast, with the freshest possible eggs from the "girls", and black pudding and newly baked bread to die for!

A lovely location with panoramic views of the countryside just outside Tenby. Pippa and Phillip are very hospitable and will make every effort to ensure your needs are met throughout your stay.

I would definitely recommend, a most perfect stay.
