We were made to feel at home from the first instances. Cleanliness is paramount here. Home cooked breakfast every morning.... one of the best I've had in years. We'll be back.... oh and parking space is always guaranteed.

We've just returned from a 3 night stay and I have to say that this guesthouse is terrific. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we stepped inside. The owners couldn't make us feel more at home and recommended lots of places to visit. They even booked us a table at a restaurant on our first night. The rooms are great considering that the building is over 100 years old, and they were replenished with tea, coffee or whatever you might need, daily. The daily breakfast was very tasty and freshly cooked. I would happily return when next visiting Devon.

We stayed here for one night on the way home from Cornwall. The bedroom was immaculately clean with comfy beds. We only met Richard who is a charming gentleman. The breakfast was served in a very pleasant dining room and was most appetising. Would most definitely stay again if we are in the area and would recommend it to anyone wanting a nice bed and breakfast at a sensible price.

Stayed with Annette and Richard for 1 night before our week trip to Lundy and on our return from the Island. Very pleasant place to stay, only a short stroll from the harbour and shops. A comfortable, clean room and comfortable bed with all the amenities (tray of tea\coffee and fresh milk) we needed. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful and provided us with a very good breakfast (lots of choice) cooked fresh and hot. Would recommend to my friends and family.

Stayed for 2 nights with friends as we had arranged a day visit to Lundy on the Saturday. Arrived on Friday afternoon and warmly welcomed by our hosts Richard & Annette. The forecast for the Saturday was dire and the sailing times to Lundy were changed at short notice. Our hosts kindly changed our Saturday morning breakfast arrangements, also arranged reservations at a local restaurant for our evening meal in Ilfracombe After arriving back wet and bedraggled from our Lundy outing, our hosts were totally unfazed by the appearance of four dripping-wet guests. Nothing is to much trouble for Richard and Annette and we all heartily recommend this B & B.

We have just returned after a two night stay, a lovely B&B with friendly owners. We had room 1 which was a good sized clean room with lovely bedding. There was bottled water, mints and a full tray of tea/coffee. Breakfast was very tasty and served hot!!
Would recommend.

Richard and Annette were really welcoming and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Spotlessly clean and lovely rooms and the breakfasts ......! They were fab! Really good choice of different breakfasts and they were all lovely. Richard and Annette were also very knowledgeable about attractions and restaurants in and around the local area. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B&B to anybody!!!

Room Tip: Our room was at the front overlooking the main road, which gave us a lovely big airy room, but it WA...
