We stayed in these apartments for a week in August and whilst the weather was nothing to speak of the accommodation was. We stayed in Apartment 4 which was on the top floor and has low beams so for tall people like us we had to watch our heads but it was well worth it. The apartment was full of character and has been done up recently to a very high standard. Apartment 4 is a studio and only really meant for couples although it does have a fold out sofa bed as well as a double bed.
Don't let that you put you off as the other apartments are much bigger and can sleep up to 7. But if you are a couple that are going away together I urge you to get apartment 4!
Harbour's End is on Fore Street which is a lovely street and has a real quaint feel to it, go to the George and Dragon for a drink or the Tapas restaurant further up the street for dinner.
Ilfracombe is a typical British Seaside Resort with its amusement acardes and crazy golf, but recently it has been given a bit of a face lift and it feels like it is having some money spent on it to bring it more upto date.
Local beaches are Woolacombe with its lovely golden sand or if you like your rock pools check out Lea Bay.
