We visited this restaurant recently at the recommendation of the other very positive reviews on Trip Advisor, unfortunately we left a little disappointed. The service was friendly and we were pleased to have booked because the restaurant was full, even on a Sunday night. The menu offers a good selection but is perhaps a little pricey for the unusual decor of the place and the, at times, somewhat slow service. My partners burger looked great, and for that matter so did most of the other dishes I saw served to other tables. However my disappointment came in the shape of an over priced (£14 ish) and under-stocked fish stew which consisted of half a bowl of rather bland tomato base with a scattering of tiny fish pieces and 2 small unshelled prawns, no vegetables or accompaniment other than 2 pieces of garlic bread. I was left to fill up on bread from the bread basket which was difficult since there were only 2 slices of French stick, and a few corn chips, unusually. I think had I chosen something different from the menu it may have been a different, more enjoyable evening but I left feeling a little over-charged and underfed.
