“Good but aged hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

Good breakfast, town and seaside can be reached within a 5 min walk, lovely town with several good bars and restaurants.

Hotel appears to be a bit old, be aware of the parking space beneath the hotel - does not belong to the hotel and is expensive.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The location (as we were attending a wedding at The Tunnels) was excellent and only a 5-10 minute walk to the harbour. The room was a very good size and was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty, freshly cooked, and was certainly large enough. Would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: Extremely large family rooms.

The bathhouse hotel gave a very friendly and personal service, the suite we stayed in was both comfortable and clean. We normally stay in self catering accommodation as we like to relax in the evenings if we do not go out, the suite gave that and also gave the normal advantages that a good hotel offers. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Overall a very goodexperience.

Room Tip: The Suite was fabulous

We stayed at the hotel a few years ago and had a lovely time. We came again for my birthday and were very impressed with the improvements. The rooms were well laid out and tastefully decorated to a modern design. The service we received was excellent and the full English breakfast was also lovely. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for good value for money accommodation.

We stayed for one night, whilst attending a wedding at the Tunnels. Which are just over the road which ws very handy. I phoned the hotel a few days before to see if we could check in early as we needed to get ready for the wedding. They willingly prepared our room early so we could check in at 12:30 rather than at 3pm. This was a great help to us. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very good. I would certainly stay there again.

We stayed here for the night on our way to Cornwall. The rooms were very pleasant, comfortable and clean. We had no problem parking. Breakfast was spot on, cooked fresh and nice and hot. The staff were very friendly. We hope to come back for a longer stay next time.

We stayed at the Bath House Hotel in August. We stayed at many hotels over the years and this one rates at the top for value for money. The location was perfect, the staff and Malcolm the owner were great. The rooms were spacious, spotless and very comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel for either a holiday or if you are going to a wedding just over the road at the tunnels beaches.

Room Tip: Everything was perfect
