We facied a visit to the Sottish Wildlife Centre on our way uo to the far north and had heard that this was a good place to stop for the night - we were not disappointed. It calls its self a "restaurant with rooms" and we booked dinner, B&B. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome and shown to a lovely large airy room overlooking the river. One criticism is that the rooms could be better soundproofed as the rather noisy couple next door never shut up until about 1 am!!. Dinner was everything we had been lead to believe - a superb menu with all dishes presented with flare and attention. Taste was superb and our only problem was that the wine list was 30 pages long!! - in the end we gave up and asked that they chose one for us - good idea as it was fantastic! Breakfast was the usual "scottish everything on a plate" so nothing exceptional - except perhaps the black pudding which was better than most we have had. All in all highly recommended - especially for the food and service.
