Just returned from a two day stay at this fabulous hotel, room with en suite immaculate. Staff very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. Mark and Yolande are very hands on and the food is excellent, well worth a visit and we will certainly be returning. Thank you both for a wonderful two days.

My boyfriend took me here for my 21st Birthday and it was wonderful. A very classic hotel. the staff were very accommodating and made us very welcome. We had a beautiful four poster bed in a small, slightly old fashioned room which was ensuite with tea and coffee facilities. A really great stay, will certainly be coming back.

We stayed a whole week at Columba House; that is probably the reason why we got a nicer room (Ruthven suite) in the main house. Breakfast is served, so enjoy. But you definitely have to dine at the restaurant. The menu offers 7 or 8 different starters and main courses, so we tried nearly everything and I can assure you, it was excellent!
One night the chef offered us one of his special pasta creations: just superb.
Excellent wines at reasonable prices. And there is a large choice of single malts!
A week to remember.

Room Tip: A room / suite in the main house is definitely the best choice

Got a groupon deal! Room with meals on the first night an breakfast. The room was basic but very clean. Meals the first night were amazing to such a degree that we ate there the following night! The owners (who are lovely people) were very accommodating and let us enjoy the drawing room at our leisure. A cosy night of wine, cards, and good chat. These guys deserve to be successful.

Stayed here for a weekend break. Lovely hotel, warm and welcoming staff, very friendly and helpful. The room was large with a lovely view over the hills, although we could see a small part of the A9! Good location for hillwalkers skiers etc and a visit to Loch Insh a must if you're into watersports.
The food was first class, we had intended to eat in Inverness on our second night but after our meal the first night decided to book for the second. I can highly recommend the Scottish Biltong!

A very pleasant overnight stay consisting of b&b with evening meal. A hotel with character and lots of antique furniture, very clean throughout, with friendly and helpful staff. The quality of the meal was excellent and we highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area.

We don't normally write reviews of where we've stayed but after our stay last week we thought it would be nice to share our views for other guests intending to stay. When we arrived we were greeted by Mark who showed us around the facilities of the hotel, we were then shown to our room which was situated at the side of the hotel. The room (The Paddock) was excellent, four poster bed, extra large bath all the home comforts. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent with very good service would definitely stay here again.
