We offer an informal lunch and slightly more formal Dinner. Ross in the kitchen is very proud of our steaks and takes great pleasure in specially selecting our beef. “Excellent customer service & food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

This is a lovely place - the food is wonderful and the staff really go the extra mile to make you feel wanted and to cater for all requirements. They have a very varied menu offering soup, sandwiches and meals which offer small, medium and large portions and on Sundays offer two or three course dinners. Everything is served beautifully and tastes great - however where this place really stands out is the fact that they are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure customers are happy. Young children are catered for with a small play area which is great as it is tucked away so diners are not disturbed and children can play happily. Also nice to have a look at the lovely locally produced crafts available for sale. This place fits the bill for all occasions whether for a quick coffee and scone or for more formal dining. Families are welcome and it is pleasant and tasetfully furnished without being stuffy.

“Excellent meal, super friendly service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

I was visiting my mum and dad in Blairgowrie and my mum insisted on taking me to her favourite restaurant for dinner. She has been several times now and even has a favourite table, which the wonderful James remembers! Food was lovely, but the most outstanding aspect for me was the personalised service, I will certainly go back whenever we are in the area and would recommend to anyone - I know my mum is recommending to her friends in that town. I loved the fact that the shop was open with the restaurant - we picked up some novelties on a Saturday night. Shop is well priced with original items. Overall a great experience.

“A place for all to enjoy.”

Welcoming and enjoyable. James knows exactly what he is doing and new ownership is delivering exactly what the area needs.

The food is great, especially the proper pies which taste incredible.

“V. Relaxing and a great wee play corner for kids”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

Went for lunch. Very friendly service, delicious food but the main bonus for me is the toy corner for the kids allows you to relax knowing the kids are not disturbing anybody. Having the shop means you can indulge in a bit of retail therapy. Definitely would recommend.

Been in a couple of times and have always received a warm welcome. Coffee is delicious and scones come with proper butter, home made jam and real cream- yummy!! You won't be disappointed.
