Description: Our Slug and Lettuce in the centre of Douglas is on the ground floor. But in the basement, we have Fiesta Havana, our nightclub! Fully embracing the two styles, we’ve combined the best of both food and drink menus to make this the only international Slug and Lettuce around.

“great bar”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

Always busy, has great deals on throughtout the week snd has a lovely varied tasty menu. The only downside is that the service is always really slow which is bad if you are in a rush. However me and my bf come here regularly after shopping at weekends.

“Slug and Lettuce”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

I visited this restaurant on previous occasions but this last was a spur of the moment one, which I am happy to say was not a disappointment. The restaurant was busy most likely as they had a special on all wines at £10 95 a bottle This is only one of the promotions which they run throughout the week. We were quickly shown to a table and in a short while were asked if we would like to order drinks whilst looking at the menu. The drinks were quickly served and our order taken. My wife opted for the Rump steak medium rare which was cooked to perfection my option was the beef pie which was served with the gravy separately Both our vegetables were cooked perfectly and the meal was very well presented. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and were to be congratulated on a high level of service.

“Dark and Dismal”

Compared to other S&L's visited I would give this one a miss. It was a bit like a greasy spoon cafe. Small and cramped a can get noisy on Saturdays.
