“Perfect from the start”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2008

Special from the start, top quality accommodation, beautifully presented rooms with a touch of luxury and of course excellent beds. Nothing too much trouble, good service and wonderful breakfast. Warmly welcomed by owner Dee and Lynne, made to feel very special. The village is charming as are the people. Will definitely return.

  • Liked — Very high quality and large with excellent en-suite bathrooms
  • Disliked — Wish they did evening meals

“New owners are fab!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2008

Stayed here as a surprise Valentines gift from my partner. The place had just been taken over by mother/daughter partnership Dee and Lynne who honoured our booking even though they were not quite ready to take guests. They made us feel very special and welcome and Dee's breakfasts are first class! A few hiccoughs which weren't really their fault, just the last owners not being honest with us over selling the business. They made the Valentines package very special with champagne, chocolates, fresh strawberries, cake, fruit- really fantastic

Dee and Lynne have certainly made the place special already with lots of improvements to come. Gone is the tackiness and it is now a very stylish and top class place to stay. .

A very memorable place to stay and we would certainly recommend it.

“Wow! Great B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2008

Have just com back from a three night stay in Koala Cottage with my girlfriend and must say what a great find! 5* luxury all the way - breakfast to die for, Champagne in the hot tub. Who could ask for more. We were made to feel very welcome by Dee and the rooms were very opulent, clean and self contained. Will definitely come back and recommend it to everyone visiting this beautiful island.

“Fantastic Break”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2008

My fiance and I stayed at Koala Cottage for 5 days in August and had a lovely time. Tim and Gemma were fantastic hosts and made us feel most welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfasts were great and the hot tub was even better!
The rooms were beautiful and had everything you could need.
The location was perfect, near to everything and the village was beautiful.
Can recommend Pavarotti's Italin restaurant in Shankin old town (near the Crab Inn). The ghost walk was entertaining, and it's worth visiting the island's Pearl Centre.

Our time at the Koala Cottage was brilliant, my partner and I had a fantastic time and enjoyed every minute. The hospitality and the breakfasts were amazing and our room was beautiful! Located in the picture perfect village of Godshill, there is plenty of places to visit and eat. Well recommended!
