“What a Friendly Warm & Welcoming Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

We stayed for a week's holiday only wished we had stayed longer. Very welcoming staff, and could not do enough for us. Room very clean, their linen & towels were pristine white. The food was excellent.
Met up with some fabulous people where it was a laugh a minute. We hope to meet up again in the future with them all.
Did not have my favourite tipple but within the shake of a lamb's tail it was there.
Had a massage in the Spa Susan was excellent.
Thank You all especially to Jill & Adrian.

After a great summer holiday at the Eastmount Hotel
I'm so happy to say - I've booked Christmas as well
The welcome is wonderful, its second to none
Whenever you're going it will always be fun
There's sherry awaiting - with a mince pie too
Or even a cuppa - my favorite brew
Christmas Fayre's delicious - the best food around
The food at the Eastmount is the best I have found
Then after my dinner - its the bar and a quiz
With a fine glass of sherry or a lovely Bucks Fizz

On Christmas Eve evening, there's a D.J on site
You'll hear nothing better - on the - 'Isle of Wight'
Music for all tastes, it's really good fun
The music's quite truly, second to none

Christmas Day - there's the breakfast treat
Champagne in the morning and all you can eat
A visit from Santa (That's if you've been good)
Followed by dinner - and a great Christmas Pud
Later that night - it's the great De Ja 2
Sure I've seen them - or is it De ja vu?

Boxing day brings the old Treasure Hunt
Really is good to see who is in front
Though I am quite happy to watch from afar
And sit in the lounge with another cup of char
Maybe I'll miss that and have the mulled wine
You can forget the sherry glass - I'll have mine in a Stein

Whatever is happening I know it'll be brill
To spend my whole Christmas with the hosts; JULIAN AND JILL.

Soooo looking forward to returning - MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL.

How lucky we are to have lovely guests like you
So funny and clever and great fun too
We will have the mulled wine flowing
and share a glass or two
So until then we're sending love
from all the Eastmount Crew
I know my poetry is lame
But it took 2 hours to do!

My friend and I spent a lovely week-end break at Eastmount Hall Hotel. The owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were very clean and bright. The swimming pool was heated and always clean, although we didn't use it, other guests commented on how good it was. The Hotel also provided a Beauty Salon for special treatments and manicures, "excellent"
The food was excellent, especially for my friend who was a Celiac and needed special food of which they catered for with no hesitation.. I can highly recommend this hotel, and will be going back again. Next time I will be taking my husband.

Room Tip: I had a ground floor room overlooking the owners private garden. Very pretty and bright, my friend...

Very welcoming from all staff. Nothing to much trouble. Food great. Room nice. Bed not as comfortable as mine at home. Nice break from the children cream tea on arrival or next day in our case was lovely. Jill spoke as if old friends which was nice and relaxing. Drinks very well priced Cheese and biscuits were lovely at end of meal. Booked bed and breakfast. But changed to evening meal as well. So glad we did

Stayed here Mon. to Fri. last week on a Red Funnel Special Dinner B&B deal. Very good value for money. Very good welcome and complementary cream tea.Goodbye diet!
Given a family room on groundfloor for just the 2 of us so plenty of room. Spotlessly clean room.Just had a "spot o' bother" with the door lock.I couldn't open it from inside so couldn't get out unless hubby was there to use his strength to open door.Bathroom in need of updating but again very clean.
Swam in outdoor pool a couple of times, lovely,we were so lucky with the weather.
Good food,Would have preferred not having to order dinner while stuffing myself full of breakfast though. I fully understand the reason behind this but couldn't it be done say half hour before while having a drink at bar. Hoteliers in this country make the mistake of running to suit themselves rather than the customer. Not complaining though,on the whole very good experience.

My daughter, her three children and I were greeted as old friends. Jill, Susie and the rest of the team made us so welcome once again. We all had comfortable rooms and in my case on the ground floor which was handy for my five year old grandson who joined us after a few days. It was his birthday and the hotel staff made a bit fuss over him. They lit the candles on our cake and brought it into the dining room singing happy birthday. All the other guests joined in, it was lovely for him. Nothing was too much trouble for Jill and her team, even when yet another granddaughter joined us making us a party of seven. Julien managed to provide us with our favourite dessert on not one occasion but three over our nine nights stay. Thank you Jill, Susie, Julien, Jamie and the whole team for making our holiday so special.

We arrived on Sunday 18th to celebrate my 60th birthday the following day, myself two daughters their partners and two grand children. The welcome was as warm and sunny as the weather and both remained that way for our stay. We were greeted with a cream tea and shown very clean bedrooms that met all our needs. The family room on the ground floor was super with french windows leading directly to the relaxing garden and pool, complimented by a sea view.
Three vegetarians, one fussy child and a baby had culinary needs met the food was good in terms of choice and preparation, we all had to leave room for the excellent cheese board.
My birthday was met with a card and greetings from the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble even when we decided to move our return ferry to later in the day as the weather so so good Jill did this and phoned back to inform us it was done.
If the weather is as warm as the welcome this is a great holiday stop in a good location and terrific value for money. We hope to return again soon, maybe my daughters 40th?

Many thanks to you all, hope to see you again soon.
