“Beautiful views if you're fit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013

Its on the side of a steep hill overlooking Belfast lough, just above Holywood. Great Beech trees cloth the hillside, underplanted with bluebells. lovely in spring. You do need to be fit!

“Brillient walk and great views!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

From just moving into Holywood I had to take a walk in Redburn Forest! It may have some steep levels but it is all worth it when you get to the top. The forest is great for dogs and can be taken off the lead. The veiws are also amazing, you can see Belfast and even the planes landing into the runway! There are also some minor waterfalls and a well. Another thing that is a must see is the 'Bear pit' which has been there since the late 1800's. This is an experience that has to be visited by everyone!!

“Redburn - an unexplored gem on Belfast's doorstep”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

Great Views over Belfast and Belfast Lough. Beautiful woodland walks.
A steep climb for some but there are paths that allow a more gracious ascent. Well worth the effort and great for excerise.
