My wife and I ate here on a very quiet evening at the end of May. Service was excellent and we really enjoyed the food. I had scallops for starters and turbot for my main and lemon posset for dessert, all of which were beautifully cooked. My wife had goats cheese tart which was fantastic and very different from the norm - the cheese was almost like a mouse and the pastry was extremely light and crispy and served with roast baby tomatoes and peppers. Her main was lamb which was superb. The only disappointing course was the cheese which was a bit limited and lacking in imagination - smaller portions of more varieties would have been better, but that is being picky. There was a good selection of wine and we had a very enjoyable eating out experience - this is good restaurant, and well worth a visit.
