I visit Sonachan House about 3-4 times EVERY YEAR. It is just like being at home - Tony & Julie always make you feel at home.
Choice of breakfasts & evening meals (optional). Enjoy your evening in the bar with Tony. The hotel & rooms are clean with freeview TVs, radio alarm clocks to name afew, in all the rooms. Large on-site car park at the rear along with a garden you can sit & relax in.
Fully recommended. ***** FIVE STARS.

Have just returned from a weekend at the Sonachan House.The rooms are spotless as is every-where in this hotel.Tony and Julie Smythe are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them to make your stay as smooth as possible.The hotel is about a 5 or 10 minute walk from Paignton town.I defy anyone to eat the breakfast and say your stomach doesn't hurt.There is a well stocked and reasonably well priced bar that is open all day.There is also a well stocked lounge for your use,e.g. dvd's games books and childrens toys.

As a result of illness we had to put off our stay at Sonachan House twice ! which must have caused the owners many problems, We therefore arrived full of trepidation.......no worry....the warmest of welcomes......tea and biscuits. The room was large ,spotlessly clean with every facility for a comfortable stay . Beware though, the full English breakfast is not for wimps ! it is wonderful. Mr and Mrs Smythe are the perfect hosts...nothing is too much trouble. I defy anyone to not enjoy their stay at Sonachan House.
