4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 days ago NEW

Stayed for one night. Bed was very comfortable, with very plumptious pillows. Breakfast was reasonable, but probably not as good as last year.
The staff were friendly, efficient, and overall our stay was much better than this time last year

The bed was not comfy at all paid for 2 nights only stayed 1 had lots of noise inside and outside hotel room which backed onto carpark could hear people putting money in carpark machine pressing the buttons etc. no one on reception most of the time. You have to pay £5 to park your car and not guaranteed a space if you go out and return we have stayed at a lot of hotels and never had to pay for parking before. Tv channels are basic no free view ones wi fi just free for 30 mins may as well of stayed at another hotel with no hidden charges.

good location and value but few things let this Travelodge down. would of preferred a sea view or a view of something not the disabled car park . Radiator when turned on set the fire alarm off so couldn't turn the radiator on . room was roasting at night time so didn't sleep very well. water flooded in shower when showering and once shower was off wouldn't drain away so had to remove the drain bit and the trap so get the water to go away . but the breakfast and evening meals were brilliant and room was clean and tidy :) so It was ok but not the best .

Stayed here when we went to the zoo. Myself and boy had a room and my mum and disabled sister had a room. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great as well. Very clean rooms. Not too expensive and 2 minute walk to the pier!

We arrived late evening and was told that we had to pay £5 for a car park space which they couldn't guarantee we could get. They held no change in the hotel and you couldn't get any mobile signal. Room was tiny for the 4 of us and I couldn't help but notice a few cobwebs hanging down. We had a peaceful sleep but room was very hot. Bath was blocked and the water wouldn't wash away.

Great value for money - in a decent family room. Clean and tidy and really convenient. Didn't park on site as plenty of on street parking just round the corner. Breakfast was also fine and good value for money.
