I have eaten traditional fish and chips as our nation’s favourite dish for a long time and know good fish and chips.
In fact the whole of Britain eat fish and chips at some point and know a decent chip when they taste one.
I visited the London Fryer today after hearing a radio promotion and have eaten here several times before.
I was pleasantly greeted and served my food with a smile but when I began to eat the food the chips were drastic, come on how can you serve this standard of chips unless you like yellow under-cooked chips, limp and still firm ‘el dente’.
This was once one of the best fish and chip shops in Torbay but if cutting corners to save heat and oil then continue to fry like this and your reputation will be gone!!!
