“Excellent place to stay at great value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

From the moment we arrived we were treated like special guests by Paul and Gillian. They were incredibly helpful and the house is modern and well appointed. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent and they help us out with our gluten free requirements. Excellent location only a block from major restaurants and the beach area. Definitely would recommend staying here again.

Stayed at Blue Waters Lodge for a short break. The rooms are very good, clean and comfortable. Paul and Gillian are great host, with good knowledge of the area and good restaurants to visit. The breakfast is very good and sets you up for the day. Hope to go back soon.

A real home from home - we had such a warm welcome from Gillian and Paul, including cards to celebrate two Birthdays during our visit. Both rooms were lovely and breakfast was delicious with such a choice!
Parking was very straightforward every day, but Paul offered to move his car if we hadn't found a space nearby.
We hope to stay there again on our next visit to South Devon.

Fantastic B&B!
Paul and Gillian are absolutely lovely hosts. They were so friendly and welcoming and will do anything they can to help you.
The B&B is tucked away on a quiet road but within very easy walking distance to the beach, town, restaurants and a cinema.
The B&B is clean and tidy. The room was set up with teas and coffees and even a bottle of water - which was such a nice added touch!
Breakfast was great. Paul cooks and Gillian serves. Perfectly done. No one waits long!
I would definetely stay again and would highly recommend it to everyone.

We are a young couple from Ireland with two very young children and we would highly recommend this accommodation for families. The cost of this B&B is hard to find fault with and the charge was minimal for our two children. We stayed for three nights and the family suite was perfectly set up with two interconnecting separate rooms, one with double bed and en-suite and the other with two single beds and set up just as we requested with a baby cot and one of the single beds having a safety bed rail. The interior was spotlessly clean, and very well looked after. The owners (Paul & Gillian) could not have been nicer with a little present for both children on arrival. They have thought of everything with free WiFi, complementary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, water etc in the room. The breakfast was perfect and booster seat and high chair set up at our table without having to request it. Small children’s bowls, plates, and cutlery was also supplied which made it easier for us to relax and enjoy our breakfast without having to worry about the inevitable spills and breakages. Parking is highly sought after in the area so when we got a space outside the door we didn’t move the car for the duration of our say and took full advantage of its central location (it’s within an easy short level walk of everything). Even though it’s near everything it also a very peaceful and quite location and we all got great nights sleep. The beach is on its doorstep and they even had buckets, shovels, balls etc that the children could take for the day. We would highly recommend the Blue Waters Lodge to anyone!!!
