“lovely restaurant and good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

I have been here numerous times and find the service and food are both good. Lovely to have a wide range of vegetarian options too. Worth a visit just for the Tiramisu.

“Delicious”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013 via mobile

The place has a nice atmosphere with tasteful decoration. Staff are friendly, and pizzas are delicious; crisp and cheesy with plenty of topping.

Be warned however, they sell garlic bread which is excellent but is the size of a full sized pizza, so one between two or three is plenty!

“Great food, Great Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

We are lucky enough to be local and try to eat here regularly. It was lovely to finish off a sunny Bank Holiday Sunday .

We always receive a warm welcome and the staff are always attentive, but we never feel rushed . We have our favourites on the menu, but whatever we choose , we are never disappointed . The Specials Board is always good as an alternative.

This is a relaxed, comfortable restaurant where nothing is too much trouble . For families with young children it is a great place to go , the children are always accommodated and mum and dad can be assured of "grown up food" . So everyone is happy !!

The wine list covers everything from a bottle of italian beer, a glass of house wine, to some good italian wines by the bottle.

Try it , you wont be disappointed .

“Losing it's way a little.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2013

Dined with friends as they wanted to go to an Italian restaurant so booked Giovanni's because of previous good meals/experiences. On this particular occasion I found the food to be a big disappointment. The service was a little pushy and arrogant, the Chianti was very much past its best and more suited to a cheap corner shop wine, the garlic and cheese flat bread was swimming in oil and the cheese nowhere to be seen.
The spaghetti putanesca was incredibly salty and the side salad was poor, £3.45 for a bowl of mostly lettuce with a few bits of tomato and cucumber chucked on top!. All in all a very poor experience and won't be returning.

“Spagetti stuck together”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

Flavour of food ok, but pizzas small and spaghetti stuck together - should have been stirred while cooking.
