“Spacious, immaculate & comfortable!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2014

Huge, immaculately clean and comfortable room. Slept like a log in a super comfy bed. Would definitely stay again. Friendly and welcoming member of staff on reception and although not my first choice eatery, a reasonably priced brewers fayre right next door for dinner and breakfast. Wonderful friendly staff there too.

My Mum was in Furness Hospital. This hotel was ideally located for regular visits. The staff were all incredibly helpful. Very professional but personal service at the same time. The rooms were spotless and extremely comfortable. The restaurant was just next door and offered a great variety of well cook and well presented food. The restaurant/bar staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Booked a disabled room online, received email confirmation of disabled room booking. Turned up to find we had been allocated a standard room. Totally useless to us because of disablities so unable to stay. Receptionist said it had only come through to them as a standard room request. Stranded without a room for the night.

We stayed as a family with children under 4. We were made to feel very welcome and the receptionist offered assistance and asked if we needed any local information Hotel has only been open about 6 months and you can still smell the newness.

Be prepared to be repeatedly asked if everything was OK from staff who mean it and will do something if not. In our experience the staff in the hotel and the adjoining Brewers Fare could not be faulted

Basic, nothing fancy but great for visiting attractions in the surrounding area. Very clean, modern and outgoing staff. I would recommend this hotel as a base, as theres not much within walking distance other than shops.

Room Tip: Situated in a fairly quiet area, although there is a fairly busy road which you could ask to be away...

The hotel is easy to find with ample parking and a Brewers Fayre right next door. The location is right next to the dock museum and a lovely promenade, which is flat and easy for all abilities to enjoy a stroll after dinner in the evening sunshine. We chose this hotel as we were visiting a particular attraction nearby the next day. There is a Tesco very close by too which means topping up with petrol and buying a picnic lunch was very easy! The hotel is fairly new and everything is clean, fresh and inviting! Even better as we had the £29 room deal, so brilliant value for money too!
