“Great welcome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

This is my second visit and I was impressed how busy the place was for a Wednesday night.
We have been greeted by the door by a member of staff they took us straight to are table.
The service was perfect, from the greeting at the door, during the meal, and the after service.
The food was cooked to perfection and the timing between the courses was perfect. I will have to
tell one little secret when i walked in that place I was dying for my Fillet Steak and Sticky Toffee
Pudding with icecream and i wasnt disappointed the fillet steak was cooked to perfection slightly
pink in the middle, and sticky toffe pudding was dying for still you have to pay an extra £1.00 for the
icecream but it was worth the money. I have to say all the other meals from pasta to pizzas was
cooked to perfection. Cant wait to come back. Definetley will come back.
From this visit this resaurant become one of my favourites in Barrow.
Thankyou to all the staff for making my night very enjoyable and warm and friendly

“Extraordinary experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013

We had our breakfast in Francescas when we stayed in The Hotel Majestic. We woke up quite early in the morning and we got a chance to be the very first people in the restaurant. Breakfast in there was a genuine brilliant moment. We were seated immediately and we chose English Breakfast instead of all the boring continental food (well, that table was prepared very good too - many cereals, selection of yogurts, juice and etc). And You know what? That's what we call FULL BIG English Breakfast, freshly prepared by all our wishes and smallest choices. We got friendly advice and explanation about almost every ingredient we were offered to eat, then we got a good big coffee-pot (and we were offered for more coffee later, for Christ's sake!) and toasters (brown and white) with butter. We tried walk and wander around while waiting for food, but that small amount of time (our breakfast were served very fast) was too short to read all funny sayings and quotes painted on the walls of the restaurant, nicely and cozy decorated. We really appreciated all services from our waiter Gregg (Thank You!)

“Dissapointment”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

Been here a good few times before with friends, was always very nice and the food was good and cheap to, so we kept going back. A few weeks ago we went back again on a busy friday night, we ordered 2 fillet steaks both well done. When it arrived mine was luke warm and the steak was a shockingly tiny portion and wasn't really well done.My friends was hot but also was tiny as well, when she cut into it, it was bleeding and practically rare. So definitely not well done! We sent them back and got 2 new ones but were still very disappointed with our meal. Staff weren't very cheery either. We haven't been back since, may consider going again soon as it was very nice everytime before. This night was a let down though.

“Scrumptious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

A dozen of us went from work just before Christmas. Several of the girls had been before but for some of us, myself it included, it was a first. It was excellent, faultless in fact, and superb value for money. We pre-ordered which worked very well. The food was truly scrumptious and the service was excellent. We had no complaints at all and each and everyone of us said we would go back again.
Yummy!!!
PS Easy to get to, easy to find, by car or bus. Own car park bit small but easy to park in the vicinity.
