“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2012

The Dome house has definately lived up to all expectations and more. We booked the Orange room, and where very impressed with the quality and comfort provided. The breakfast hamper was exceptional, with organic bread and quality products. The owners Rob and Milla were very friendly and helpful and we would recommend the Dome house to our family and friends, and would stay again ourselves.

This is an amazing house. It featured on Grand Designs, which was where we found out about it. The location is fantastic - you get a beautiful view of Windermere from the balcony of the orange room. Rob and Mila were warm, interesting, friendly and great fun. They were happy to share their experience of being on TV even though they must have told the story untold times. The rooms was fantastic and having a stylish kitchenette made the stay really easy. The breakfast hamper was fantastic - every part of it hand picked for quality. Delicious! We loved it and will definitely go again. If you want to stay in a really incredible building with lovely hosts, great views and a beautiful room, this is the place to go.

Stayed at the dome house march 26th and 27th, booked it in november as xmas present for the mrs and got very lucky with the weather. The green room was really nice, clean, modern and spacious. The views are excellent. The breakfast hamper was great, a really nice touch. Robert and Milla were fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

Booked a stay over New Year after seeing the house on Grand Designs and we are glad we did! Our hosts, Robert and Mila, could not be faulted and the accommodation was first class! Gorgeous views over Windermere were not spoiled by the inclement weather, and we cannot wait to go stay again!

Location is on a very steep hill, it is tucked away on what looks like someone else's driveway! Perfect is you like a good hike! The building is beautiful. Room was very clean and comfy. Member of staff greeted us and showed us our room. Very pleasant. Stunning view of Lake Windermere. Didnt hear a knock at the door in the morning, if there was a knock? To let us know that someone had left a gorgeous Breakfast hamper!
