“OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND CUSTOMER CARE”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

This really is an outstanding guest house. Simply put the owners Hazel and John cannot do enough for you. They go above and beyond your expectations in every conceivable way. You become part of "the family" for the duration of your stay. The breakfasts are of such a high standard you just want to sit there all day and eat, the rooms are spotless with furnishings to a very high standard and television in all rooms including satellite. To be honest you simply cannot fault the place or your hosts. You certainly will not be disappointed.

We have stayed here several times and will keep going back. The bedrooms are lovely and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent with local food. Hazel and John are very friendly and welcoming. The only problem with this guest house is that it is so popular you do have to book well in advance.

We have stayed at other B&B in the potteries when we have come to collect pottery supplies, plus visit some of the local attractions. We think that Hazel and John run the best there is. Always welcoming, spotlessly clean and a great breakfast. Close to a varied choice of resturants in walking distance. We will be returning, no place compares. So pleased we found the Graythwaite

Hazel and John run a very wonderful bed and breakfast. We arrived tired, wet, and anxious after flying overnight to England from America. They took us in and made us feel right at home. John's cooking was the best we encountered in our two week stay as we traveled the North of England. And we had some great breakfasts elsewhere, so that is saying something. Hazel really cares for her guests and the result is that it is a happy house. One of the guests commented that he had been coming to Graythwaite Guest House for years and that we would not find a better B&B in our travels. He was correct! I heartily recommend this establishment

Five of us stayed here for two nights in August this year when going to Alton Towers for the day. Hazel and John were both very welcoming and helpful offering suggestions for restaurants and places to visit.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast was great - the homemade jams were lovely!

Less that a 5min walk to restaurants and easy access to the main road, on 35min from Alton Towers.

Would definately recommend this Guest House to anyone of all ages.

Thanks again Hazel and John :)

We stayed for a couple of nights with our young children. Owners are very welcoming. Room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast as everyone says is really good, you can really have anything at all that you would want. Location is a 5 minute walk from the town centre. So glad we booked here and not one of the chains.

We only booked at the last minute, found it via google and looked on here for reviews.

The landlady was very friendly and helpful, the room was really nice and comfortable. Already planning to use this B&B again when we return to the potteries.

The Breakfast was great and ample and they were happy to give you extra food if you asked for it, but the normal breakfast is more than enough.
