“Food always been good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2012

The old saying is you get what you pay for! Having said that we never had a bad meal there and the service has always been good.

“Busy, but great atmosphere!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012 via mobile

I visited this pub for the first time last week, and although it was busy and it took a little longer to get served the atmosphere was great. The wait is worth is cos they serve still cider! Unlike the previous reviewer I thought the staff were pretty cool and friendly, spose it depends on the particular staff at the time. Had a burger too... Burger and a pint 4.99! Wooooo! I'll Definately be going here again, much better than the other pubs in the vicinity.

“Dire Straits”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

Generally we all know what to expect at a Wetherspoons - cheap & cheerful. At this venue one can also be treated to idle, sarcastic staff, dirty tables, pitiful food and foul mouthed drunks.
The management & staff could do with a lesson from the 'Butler's Bell' wetherspoon outlet in Stafford.
All in all, horrendous.

“Eggs Benedict”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2012

Eggs Benedict - a part of the Breakfast Menu - is quite good. The egg yolk runs into the white sauce, which runs all over the plate!

“Not bad for a Weatherspoons”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2012

I would actually rate this as good, but there wasn't a button for that
Food was fresh, hot and served pretty quickly
Could do with a better selection for vegetarians though

I would add I think wetherspoons can be a bit hit and miss for food, but was good on this occasion
