“Tasty fish'n'chips, gluten free too”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

We made straight for the Old Harbour Fish Bar after hearing about the gluten free options for my wife and son. It's not cheap as chips at £30 for 2 adults and a child for a full meal but tasty, good value nosh and a relaxed, informal atmosphere in the cafe/restaurant next to the takeaway. The staff were really friendly and looked after us well. We'll be back when next in Weymouth.

“So slow!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

Waited 15 mins for someone to take an order then waited another ten mins for those drinks to come over! Was only two tables sitting down. You dont wanna know how long the food took! We only stayed because the rain was so bad outside!

“Fantastic Fish and Chips, Gluten free too.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013

There were 26 of us who descended on the Old Harbour fish bar when we were holidaying in Weymouth, picked out because of the gluten free option and trip advisor reviews. Was wondering if so many of us (6 families) would cause an issue. It didn't, Superb wide menu (Not just fish), to top it all, also serves alcohol in the restaurant.
Quite a large restaurant area to take us all.
Fish and Chips was great GF and usual. Lovely light batter, Excellent Chips, Really friendly service.
On the Gluten free side, It is all done properly, separate fryers for chips and GF products, Why can't more places do similar?
I can absolutely recommend taking the time to look this one up, thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back.

“Always A Pleasure.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2013

Belated review. Another super family meal at this fine establishment. This is aided by the fact that the owners are originally from the fine Black Country, therefore they do not take their customers for granted. Something which local owners of other establishments may wish to adhere to? Indeed, the hostess with the most(ess) has always got time for the people dining in her restaurant, always serving my wife and I a quality red wine to accompany our meal. Our kids always leave empty plates when we dine here. We are here again in this great town of Weymouth as I write this review and intend to visit again during our stay before we eat out anywhere else. Paul the 'fry master' certainly knows his trade.
