This Victorian built guest house is a few minutes walk away from the sandy beach, amusements and small sea side town centre. Adequate parking at rear a bonus. Our room was up a couple of flights of narrow stairs but even with our 8 month old son this was ok, and the room was spotlessly clean. A cot bed had been provided as requested and the owner gave us a selection of sheets and snuggly blankets to put on it. In the room itself was a double wardrobe with mini fridge, iron and ironing board, big set of drawers, tea making facilities (which was replenished daily complete with chocolates, biscuits, bottled water and tea and coffee etc!) flat screen tv with free view comfy bed and decent en suite with loads of little toiletry goodies and plush thick White towels changed daily. There was enough room for us to store all our baby equipment clothing high chair and other parafernalia and still be comfortable !! Breakfast was excellent absolutely loads of choice whether you wanted healthy or just decadent, fruit, toast, cereals on abundance, big fry up or other hot options- eggs kippers etc and generous. The owner Jean was a warm and welcoming lady extremely hospitable and friendly took a genuine interest in what you were doing and offered advice and leaflets on places to visit during our stay, places to eat or take our baby boy. We have already recommended this gem to our family and would stay here again without hesitation
