“A great way to enjoy the beauty of Weymouth”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2013

I booked a trip for my family with Jurassic Safari after reading reviews online. This turned out to be an amazing experience for the whole family.

Carol was very helpful in accepting our multiple changes to the pick-up point location and even helped us with a booster seat for my 3 year old!

Throughout the safari, Gary shared with us the rich history of Weymouth and interesting stories about the many places we visited. The route itself was fantastic, covering hilly expanses, small villages, castles and an unforgettable viewpoint from where we had 360 degree views of the sea.

The whole experience was very personal and didn't feel in any way commercial or touristy.

Thanks Gary & Carol for giving us a memorable Weymouth experience!

“Birthday Treat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2013

Booked the Safari as a last minute birthday treat for my husband. We had a wonderful day and enjoyed good weather so the views were spectacular. Gary's wealth of knowledge and Carols amazing birthday cake made it a really special day. Our ages ranged from 10 to 50 plus and we all had a great time. A fantastic day out that I would recommend to all ages.

“Great Day for Philippines visitors”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

On visit from the Philippines my party of four loved this trip! We saw wild deer, falcons hunting and the most amazing views, maganda talaga! (So beautiful!) Our host Gary, had many funny and interesting stories. It was the Purbeck tour we did, but they have other ones too. This is so different from the usual commercial tourist experience and a must-see if you find yourself having a vacation in Dorset. Ask for Gary's wife's apple cake - masarap iyon! (It's delicious!) The tea (or coffee) and cake is in the trip price. Note some of the tour is off road, so can be bumpy...

“Awesome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

Simply a wonderful afternoon spent exploring the Purbecks and hearing stories of Corfe Castle, wildlife, local history and notable locals. Ages spanned from 77yrs to 5yrs - there was something for everyone. Will certainly think about booking again soon. The highlight of the kids summer holiday.

“Spectacular and unforgettable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013 via mobile

We would like to thank Gary and Carol for these fantastic tours they make. We went to Purbeck Hills and it was an extraurdinary adventure. And what really makes it so special is that you do not only see the blessed land of amasing beauty but you also learn so much about the region, its history and everyday life. Gary speaks with passion and it is so different from the way most guides do. All his stories are personal and you remember all he says so well. And the views! You seem to be in a fairy tales book with amazing pictures but all this is alive around you: the Corfe caste, the hills, the sea, the Frome river with its estuary, the Lulworth castle, farms and picturesque villages, fields of wheat and barley, sheep, cows and deer. Not for nothing it is called Heavens Gate. And hot tea with milk and butter cakes together with an extraurdinary walk amid this solemn beauty were just great. Thank you. I definitely recommend Jurassic Safari to all. It's truly unforgettable.
