We had a brilliant stay at the Roundhouse! Eva is a lovely host and very welcoming. The room we stayed in had a great view towards both, the harbour and the beach. It was nicely decorated, well thought-out with a plush, boutique-hotel feeling about it. The bathroom was modern and clean, with toiletries, fluffy towels and a robe. Plenty of choice on the tea tray and free mineral water. The breakfast was excellent, made to order to your choice and the freshly baked bread was divine! There even were fresh croissants and fruit. Out of season parking wasn't a problem and we could keep the parking permit for a few hours after we checked out. Overall it was a great stay and everything throughout was the same high standard up to the last detail. We will come back!

We have just returned from a wonderful two night stay at The Roundhouse. We are regular visitors to the Weymouth area but have never actually stayed in town due to a) wanting to keep away from the crowds and b) the lack of quality accommodation. Having come across The Roundhouse on the internet we decided to make an exception as it was out of season. We were not disappointed and will definitely re-book when we are visiting out of season again. The room we had was very large and perfectly furnished with double aspect windows overlooking both the harbour and the quay. Personally I could have spent the whole time sitting on the chaise longue gazing out of the window! Eva the owner is very welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Her breakfasts are amazing. The only minor downside is it can be slightly noisy from the traffic outside but bearing in mind this is the middle of Weymouth, what do you expect, plus I always sleep with the window wide open!

Had a lovely stay at the Roundhouse over the August Bank Holiday only downside was the room we had at the top was a little small and the scaffolding was still up from maintenance work on the property so it blocked our view a bit .Eva was a lovely host and nothing was too much trouble.
Hert staff were lovely too. Eva did offer to move us into another room when it was vacated but we were settled in by then.Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. I guess the only negative is the parking although we did manage to secure a a permit after unfortunately getting a parking ticket
when we made a mistake and thought we'd paid for 3 hours but it was in fact 2. Still we didn't let that spoil what was a lovely stay. Loads of lovely things to do and places to eat Would highly recommend it.

were settled by then

Chose this hotel after seeing the excellent reviews on trip advisor and wasn't disappointed!! It was my fiance's 50th birthday and I wanted to treat him to a weekend away in a boutique style hotel, and the roundhouse hotel fitted the bill perfectly. The hotel has scaffolding on it at the moment, but this is due to the owner currently carrying out some minor work on the roof. The moment we walked through the door I knew I had made the right choice. Eva the owner is a lovely warm hostess, nothing is too much trouble, she is also an artist and her artwork is displayed around the hotel. Our room was very spacious and decorated out beautifully. I chose the deluxe double which had superb views to the seafront and the harbour to the side. The bed was the most comfortable we have slept in, and the room was spotless. Breakfast was again nothing too much trouble for eva as I am a vegetarian and she made sure I had some soya milk for my cereal. My fiance had the full english breakfast and loved it, even the crispy mushrooms. I had an courgette omelette, again was lovely. All in all thanks to eva and her lovely hotel we had a wonderful weekend and would not hesitate to recommend this charming hotel to anyone!
