“Warm welcome, good food, nice view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

On a short visit to explore Weymouth, so booked here beforehand; nice e-mail response from Ian Westgate (Owner) who fixed a table with harbour view and there was a friendly welcome on arrival. Small cosy restaurant with pleasant Staff. Menu offered good choices, - small but good wine list. Food & wine not expensive for such quality. Worth seeking out. Best to book as it's popular.

“Great find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

We were looking for something other than pub grub after our arrival in Weymouth. Stumbled across the Harbour Bridge Restaurant which ticked all the boxes. Friendly andf efficient service, not rushed but not too slow, good sized portions of well prepared food and very tasty, all at a resonable price. (we ate the early bird menu, served until 7.00 pm.) If I'm ever in Weymouth again it will be my first port of call.

“Don't miss it! Delicious food and great service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

This restaurant is a gem! We ate here Friday night and returned on Saturday as everything was so delicious.

Everything was perfect... A very warm welcome, great atmosphere and music, prompt service and amazing food.

Our group ate a variety of dishes and all were delicious: Tasty and warming watercress soup, perfectly cooked sirloin steak, fantastic crab cakes and a huge fish pie to name a few! The desserts are also scrumptious - Make sure you leave room for the lemon polenta cake or the locally produced ice cream!

The bar is well stocked and they have a good wine list (they also sell bin-ends at a great price). Everything we had here was very good value, I would definitely recommend to friends.

All in all - fantastic. Just go there!

“Warm welcome and ooh those crab cakes!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013 via mobile

Starting with the exceptionally warm welcome from the owners, to the fantastic food and a very reasonable bill (just over £20 each for 2 courses and drinks) I really couldn't fault this restaurant.
On arriving without booking, we were very warmly greeted and were told that there may be a small wait for food as everyone had come in at once and they checked we were ok with this. To be honest if the hadn't have told us we wouldn't have noticed but it was a nice touch. Restaurant is well laid out with plenty of space in between tables and subtle background music. Food was fantastic with the highlight being the crab cakes. Home made and served with fresh sweet chilli sauce they were possibly the nicest I have ever had, full of crab meat with a light crispy crust, no cheap mashed potato filling here! would also recommend the seafood tagliatelli, full of clams, prawns and crab meat. Would definitely return and recommend.

“wow, wow, wow....fantastic food, great ambience and wonderful location!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013

We visited this wonderful restaurant on Saturday 9 March and were lucky enough to sample their set menu :)

We were seated in the best seats in the house and sat in the window table and although it was a foggy evening, the view was still wonderful and the setting perfect.

The ambience in this restaurant made our meal just perfect. The lighting and candles make it a romantic place to eat. The music was classy and set the scene and the food well presented top cuisine and you should not let this restaurant pass you by (or even pass by the restaurant)

We would also like to say a big thank you for the warm welcome and attentive service, which came with a smile!

A classy establishment who we feel have got it "spot-on"

We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and is perfect for couples or families.

Very reasonably priced with ample portion sizes, especially their set menu special price between 6-7pm

We will definitely be back when in the area again :)
