Can confirm most of what has already been said. Slow service is not a one-off. Only two to serve, but then only about 3 other couples in the place. The "amuse bouche" between courses were unusual and tasty. My starter was scollops - two tiny ones but very nice. Wife had pigeon - very debatable if it had ever seen any heat to "cook" the two tiny ruby red slices. Main course, 2 tiny slices of venison was the same. Wife's description was, "it may have been walked through a warm room on the way from larder to my plate"! My little bit of lamb was very nice. Don't look to vegetables to "fill you up" - you only get a cube/slice or two so the plate does not look too empty.
If you really like food, and meat on the undercooked side (no one asked as to how you might like your meat), and are happy to wait and talk among yourselves then you will like it. The tastes were often unusual and very nice.
But if you are hungry or have been "saving" yourself all day (like me) or if you like to be in and out in an hour or so this is not for you.
