We started with Bridlington crab and Kilham asparagus following some local bread with local extra virgin oil and sea salt and a delicious amuse bouche of sea bass, mushroom and mussel tempura. We were really impressed that so much locally-sourced produce was included in the menu.
Main course was cornfed chicken and rack of lamb both of which were served with wonderful sauces and perfectly-cooked vegetables. We could only manage one pudding which was sticky toffee pudding with home-made clotted cream ice cream. Everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The tables and chairs were stylish, practical and comfortable.
Our only issues were that from the outside the restaurant looked dark and not particularly welcoming. The lighting inside could be improved by having candles at the tables.
Our bill came to £65 including 3 large glasses of house wine and a soft drink.
We'll be back!

We are very glad that you enjoyed your experience with us.
We took your comments about our ambiance and have recently gotten some candles for the tables and are in the process of altering our front window to hopefully give a better reflection of our dining room.
Thankyou once again for taking the time to post your thoughts and we look forward to seeing you again.
