On a miserable day weather wise we visited the house, shop & cafe. We could not go round the grounds due to the constant rain so we will return later in the season as we paid an extra £2 each for a gold card , so can return as many times as we want to see house & grounds free of charge for season 2012.
The house was nice & one lady gave us lots of extra information as we walked round. She was lovely, & made our visit even more memorable. My 80yr old mother in law was with us & she took her up in the lift which was very helpfull. Thankyou. It felt very homely with these ladies & so lovely to hear the gentleman playing the organ & indeed this same lady sang. So quaint
