Found this gem on late rooms and mainly selected it because it had parking which was quite a premium in Bude. The reviews had all been very good so felt very confident, although on arrival I felt it was further from the sea than I had imagined. This didn't matter though as the walk into Bude and the coast was along a lovely route via the cannel walk, which was very scenic and relaxing. Carol the hostess was very welcoming and we enjoyed the scrumptious cream tea on arrival. The room was very roomy and had a host of extras such as bottled water (much appreciated in the heatwave!), his and hers dressing gowns, fruit cake, a fan (put to good use straight away-thank you),magazines, dvd's to borrow, plus a great power shower. Breakfast set us up for the day and you could even order a packed lunch if you wished to take away. All in all excellent value for money and would have no hesitation in recommending!. Thank you to Carol for making us so welcome.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Meadowside double room which we couldn't fault!

A very good find, this friendly B+B was fantastic. We, sadly, only stayed one night in a very smart room that was completely spotless with beautiful smelling linen!! We took our 9month old and Carol had found another travel cot for us and it was all ready made up when we arrived. It was fantastic with a little one to have a small fridge alongside the kettle - we were quite gutted after we left to realise we had forgotten to sample the home-made biscuits! At breakfast there was a beautiful spread and a highchair laid up for us too. A peaceful location and very helpful owners - we would definitely recommend Bagbury Byre.

We had a lovely break at Bagbury. We were made to feel very welcome with a cream tea on the patio on arrival and the room was spotless and fresh. We stayed in the Garden Suite which was the family room and the travel cot we requested was already put up ready for us. The room came with a tv/dvd player which was useful as we had brought our son's Postman Pat DVDs with us on the off chance and were able to carry on his night time routine.
The breakfasts were fantastic with our needs being easily accommodated and we were encouraged to have as much for breakfast as we liked with the breakfast being served quite flexibly by only giving a rough time when we would like it.
All in all we would recommend a stay here as it was far enough out of town to be quiet and peaceful but close enough that you could easily walk into the centre in 10mins if desired. We will definitely consider staying here again if we visit the area again! Thanks for a lovely break.

Room Tip: Only two rooms, Garden suite has separate family room with bunk beds plus room for a travel cot

A very pleasant B&B in the countryside just outside Bude in Cornwall. Great welcome with cream tea, lovely breakfast and very well equipped and beautiful rooms. Worth a stay. The rooms has all facilities you can ask for, including free internet.

Having stayed at Bagbury Byre at the end of our coast path walking holiday last year, there was only one place we wanted to start from this year, the only hard thing was leaving! What a fantastic welcome, and even a home-made cream tea. What made us want to return is the attention to detail, it's all just so perfect. The room is beautiful and even had home-made rock buns in a little tub and fresh milk in the fridge - it's these little touches that make all the difference. With a friendly host and a lovely walk along the cycle track to town in the evening, this place is a real find and we will absolutely be going back....and hopefully for longer next time.

We stayed at Bagbury Byre for one night when meeting up with family in Bude. From the moment we arrived Carol made us feel welcome. Our room, Meadowside, was pristine and very comfortable with many thoughful touches. From the delicious cream tea to to the bath sheets (always the sign of truly luxurious accommodation - I hate skimpy bath towels) we could not have been more comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble and Carol was happy to arrange sumptuous early breakfast as we had to make a circuitous trip home to Cheshire via London.
