“Lunch on a day trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2014

We only thought we would find a cup of tea and a cake if we were lucky until we found this little gem of a place. It may look like an old scout hut but don't worry you will want to stop.
The menu amazed us with its variety of tastes from around the world And the Food was fabulously tasty and very reasonably priced and the lady owner had no problems changing things to suit my carb free diet.
Shame its 500 miles from home or we would be here regularly.

“Great little tearoom”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014

Characterful little tearoom, worth a visit. Had a decent meal and enjoyed the scones. Only really went here as one of my favourite films is the 39 Steps, which was filmed in this area and actually at this tearoom (although the building has been moved across the road since).

“Brig O' Heaven”

I've been going to these tea rooms for about 16 years ... & the current proprietors have a fabulous offer of excellent tasty food & great friendly service. We love it! Keep up the hard work... Highly recommended.

“Worth a visit.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2014

Food lovely. Very well presented. We didn't have a starter but wished we had as there were some tempting things on the starter menu and the main course portions were not quite filling. Had a pudding instead. Worth a visit.

“Best find!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2014

We had an unfortunate blowout flat across the street and spent a few hours here waiting for a towtruck. Best way to spend an afternoon. Friendliest service. Homey and welcoming atmosphere and fabulous food (we were there long enough to order multiple items.....to our delight).
