Stayed here on an overnight visit to Callander. Was a bit worried after reading some reviews but it was a good deal so hoped for the best. Reception staff were very nice as were all staff we came across. Our room appeared to have had a refurb; new furniture and tv. Not sure what happened to the bathroom. A new shelf had been put up but that appeared to be it. Bathroom however, was spotless. Sink had a crack in it and the thinnest shower curtain ever. Door handle had been removed from bedroom into bathroom and not replaced and bathroom door didn't close properly. No big deal but maybe should be looked at. Comfy beds and had a good sleep. Breakfast was excellent. Cereal, juice and full breakfast with toast and coffee. Again, excellent staff. Hotel just needs a bit of "tweeking" and it would be perfect. Would recommend and will stay again.
