enjoyed stay in callander great, hotel rooms clean, service was first class,family running hotel were very pleasant and had recently taken over the hotel and seemed to bend over backwards to make stay an enjoyable one and the breakfast was lovely will book again next year i would recommend callander and the highland house hotel to anyone.

I booked a weekends stay at this hotel for a holiday weekend and unfortunately had to cancel due to illness. When I called to make the booking the female in charge was very pleasant but when I called to cancel she was extremely unpleasant. Even after I advised her that I was cancelling because my partner was suffering from lung cancer and had to be hospitalised she was still unpleasant and continued to tell me how inconvenient our cancellation was to her. We have since had a weekend break but would not dare call and book here again.
