My wife and I stopped in late afternoon (16.10hr) for a bar lunch
the décor was a bit twee obviously aimed at the tourist market (as is most of the town) but nothing too offensive, was clean with some different areas segregated to suit people and moods.
when we sat down after a respectful amount of time to let us get settled we were served promptly and very professionally by the one young girl who was on duty, I ordered the house burger & my wife ordered rack of ribs both were priced around £8 and both were really good meals for the price, the burger came on a roll with some sauces already applied and a basic leaf salad the home-made burgers were delicious chips were very nice & tasty,
My wife really enjoyed the ribs which were very tender & the sauce they were cooked in ,she also had chips and a slightly better leaf salad. Finished off with pot of tea (containing two tea bags, "don't you hate it when its like dishwater") for my wife and a delicious fresh coffee for myself.
The waitress/bartender was fantastic really efficient professional and friendly, unexpectedly the restaurant suddenly got busy, it was a treat to watch the girl in action she truly could multi-task
so all in all good fare at a reasonable price, it's not A La Carte' but doesn't claim to be
would happily go back again or recommend
