This was our first stay at a Premier Travel Inn. It was in a great location - nice and quiet, but easy to get on and off the main roads.

The room was slightly on the small side for the four of us. We got the big bed, our daughters were on mattresses on either side of the bed. But the mattresses were full size so they had lots of room. In fact, for our 2nd night, we all traded spaces and the kids had the bed and hubby and I each got one of the mattresses and we still had a good sleep.

Bathroom was very large, with a nice large tub. Plenty of hot water. There was also a kettle with lots of tea and coffee for us, as well as four mugs and 2 glasses for our use. Plenty of towels and there were also extra pillows for our use.

Morrisons right across the street for us to pickup things for snacks and breakie. We ate our supper at the Brewers Fayre Pub (I think it was called) that was right next to the hotel. Prices okay. Good place for a family.

We used this as a place to stay for our daytrip to Bath. Got to their Park and Ride w/no problems so we wouldn't have to drive into the centre of Bath.

Would stay here again to visit the area and see more!

  • Liked — Close to lots of things.
  • Disliked — Smaller sized room.

These travel inn places are always satisfying... simple but never much to complain about as they are great value for money! We stayed in one of the premier travel inn places before and we had no faults then too although this time we felt it was a little less cleaner than the last although that would be the end of my complains!

The breakfast in the morning is well worth the money if you can eat a lot! There's so so much choice and I definately walked away with a full stomach as did the rest of the family!

Cheap and cheerful... that's my conclusion!

  • Liked — Cheap and cheerful + the breakfast!
  • Disliked — It could've been cleaner

We booked this motel after trying to book a couple of nice B&Bs in Bath. We were told that, because it was Bank Holiday weekend, we could only book for a minimum of 3 nights, and we only had 2. What a pleasant surprise! First, it's very clean. Second, it's near Bath, Lacock, and Castle Coombe, and a good starting point for trips to Stonehenge and the Cotswolds. We thought the Brewer's Fayre restaurant attached was a good value (for England) and the food was very good. I thought 7.5 pounds ($15) was too much even for an all you can eat breakfast, and outsmarted myself by going down the hill for a cheap Burger King breakfast. BK doesn't offer breakfast, and the other attached restaurant wasn't cheaper than Brewer's Fayre, and offered a lot less for the money.
The Staff at the PTI was exceptional! All of them were pleasant and helpful, but when we needed to replace a tire (we were driving on the spare), one of the staff (Sharon) drove ahead of us and guided us to the garage so we wouldn't get lost! Marion's heading a great team!

  • Liked — The staff
  • Disliked — It was a bit hard to find coming north from Stone Henge

A wonderful hotel for anyone with young children. Our room, while nothing flash, was large, clean and had a portable cot set up for our 18 month old without us having to ask. The room does not have a fridge, mini bar or room service but it does have a kettle with coffee & tea and for what you're paying that is quite enough.

The hotel has a 'pub' attached to it, though it is a separte building, where you can have your meals and it also has a wondeful indoor/outdoor play centre for your little ones to tire themselves out while you watch with your cup of tea. The bonus for us as well is that they even had baby food jars available and were able to get us warm milk.

Location wise it isn't that far from Bath which was our destination. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

  • Liked — The big rooms and the children's play centre
  • Disliked — The restaruant is in a separate bulding.

Considering that it was #45 for 4 for us,the price was great. It is next to a brewers fare which serves standard pub food, but does have a brewsters with an indoor and out childrens play area

Staff were helpful too.
