“Best coffee shop in Dorset?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2014

Quite possibly the most fantastic coffee shop / cafe I've ever been to.
The breakfasts are great, wonderful coffees and lovely staff

The atmosphere is great, the decor is blue / white and has lots of quirky quotes and beachy decorations around the place.

It really is wonderful.

“Lunch Break!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013

My boyfriend and I work in the shop directly opposite to Coast so we often pop in for breakfast or lunch and we absolutely love it! Food is always excellent value for money and so delicious. The owners are normally in and so things are run very efficiently, apart from on our last trip when we had a bit of a surprise. We walked in for our usual lunch which took a lot longer than usual to come and we had to clear our own table. We also ordered a few things to take away with us for one of our colleagues, the waitress who brought these extras to the table announced them wrongly even though she had been the one to take our original order at the till. I was slightly disappointed in the blasé attitude she showed when I asked her to double check it for us. Normally a great place for food and a coffee, well worth a visit!!

“Well worth a visit!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2013 via mobile

Popped in for a pre Christmas coffee & cake catch up with a girlfriend. It was the first visit for both of us and we were pleased that it lived up to expectations. Had Americano's and scrummy Apple & Cinnamon Flapjacks which were moist and flavourful. Will definitely be returning.

“Coffee break!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2013

We visited Christchurch whilst staying in Bournemouth for a couple of days. Having walked to the Quay and back we were ready for a cup of coffee and a sit down. We could see from the outside that this cafe was fairly busy, which is always a good sign. We both had a lovely coffee and a slice of home made blackcurrant flapjack, with a yoghurt topping. Extremely yummy! Just the place to rest up between sightseeing and shopping; very friendly and quick service.

“Great food in the High Street”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2013

When you are looking for a snack with very good coffee, this coffee cafe in the high street in Christchurch is just the place. We had an egg and bacon panini and an egg and bacon croissant, they were excellent. Freshly cooked with local ingredients, the snack was politely served and when you have been shopping or just taken a walk by the river, it is just the right surroundings to eat good food. All the staff are friendly and we have been in a few times now and the service and food have always been excellent. The cakes look very inviting, but we resisted, we will definitely be going in a again for coffee and one of the cakes!!
This coffee shop certainly beats the big chains, it is well worth a visit.
